Dust/Particle Collection
Both models use an electronic dust
collection cell to trap particles, but the Intelli-Pro

The Hepa air filter is generally considered the most effective type of
filter for removing dust, allergens, and other solid particles.
Germicidal Protection
The Intelli-Pro air
purifier has a germicidal ultraviolet light, which offers
very strong germicidal protection. UV lamps are unsurpassed in their
ability to destroy airborne micro-organisms, such as germs,
bacteria and viruses.
The Friedrich air purifier does not have a
technology nearly as effective at destroying micro-organisms as the UV lamp found inside the
Intelli-Pro.

outlet, which circulates air-cleaning negative ions throughout the

Maintenance
The metal, electronic dust collection
cell inside the Friedrich C-90A must be washed in the dishwasher,
since the plates are too close together to hand-wash. This takes it
out of commission for a long period of time.
Cleaning the Intelli-Pro's metal
dust collector cell is much easier, and takes only a matter of
minutes. You simply unclip the grid from its frame, wipe it clean,
dry it completely, then you are ready to use it again.
Cost
The Intelli-Pro air purifier is
far more affordable
than the Friedrich. At $299, the Intelli-Pro is about $200 less
expensive than the Friedrich C-90A air purifier.
Warranty
The Friedrich comes with only a
1-year warranty, while the Intelli-Pro is backed up much more
strongly with its 3-year warranty.
